IndigE-girl Comedy – Toronto Showcase, highlights seven of Toronto’s funniest Indigenous comedians. Sketches are based on Indigenous perspectives and relations to the land, the animals, culture and the Indigenous experience traversing through colonial systems. Each sketch takes on elements of the Indigenous experiences through a political and pop culture lens. The inaugural Toronto Show presents seven Indigenous women in sketch comedy.
